What a day at the AI and Data Driven Maritime Innovation Conference at Launchpad, Douglas.

Brilliant speakers, sharp discussions, and a real focus on collaboration across the Irish Sea rim. It felt practical and grounded, with people from across the sector talking about real challenges and real opportunities around data, sustainability, skills, and operations.

A highlight for us was the AI Passport work, plus the wider focus on AI powered safety and surveillance at sea. Using computer vision and sensor systems to spot risks in real time and support quicker, safer response is exactly the kind of use case that makes the value of AI very real.

Big thanks to Isle of Man Maritime and everyone involved for bringing the right people into the room.
