No two roles at Acclaim look the same and that’s exactly why we’re doing this Week in the Life series.

To kick off our 2026 Week in the Life series, we had to start with our Head of Operations, Craig… because his weeks are basically impossible to predict.

Read below and you’ll see why (including a very specific morning routine, an even more chaotic “job description,” and the win of the week you won’t expect).

Meet: Craig, Head of Operations, movie & comic book nerd, vinyl fanatic, chef extraordinaire

Before work: Spends 45 minutes trying to get his wife out of bed, gives up, gets himself ready, then walks to work

On the clock (what he actually does):
• Who knows? As Head of Operations, each day is completely different from the last. Some days he’s researching and onboarding new technologies, chairing the AI & Technology Committee, or running training sessions with colleagues. Other days he’s meeting potential new clients, establishing new structures, or developing procedures and processes

After 5:30pm: Heads home and cooks up something delicious for dinner, before a night of TV and gaming with his wife, or trying to get some steps in regardless of the weather

Weekend: As many weekends away as they can manage – theatre, gigs, escape rooms and fancy meals

Win of the week: Learnt to speak St Helens-ese from our reet Northern Trainee Administrator, Jessica
